Plastklubben PET -- Polymer Engineering Technology

Plastklubben PET was founded officially on monday the 2 november 1998 when fifteenish students from plastics technology in Arcada got together.

The idea with the club came when the plastics studies started in the school in the fall of 1998. When a studyexcursion was made to the K'98 fair in Düsseldorf 23- 26.10.1998 the group became even more tight.

The basic principles of the club is to unite plastics technology students, arrange excursions to firms in the plastics industry and to monitor the intrests of plastics technology students.

Because of the education on plastics technology at Arcada is unique in Finland, the group has alot of responsibility to see that the students are motivated to fulfill their studies in plastics technology.

The club is under TLK (Tekniska Läroverkets Kamratförbund) and every member in TLK has the option to join Plastklubben PET also.
